Tanjong Pagar KTM Intercity station

Tanjong Pagar KTM Intercity Station is where I wish to visit before it is closed to public in July 2011.

In between an errand, I managed to have 40 mins in town today and make it to the station.

The art deco Tanjong Pagar Railway Station:

The large initials "F M S R" stand for Federated Malay States Railways. The four white marble reliefs beneath these initials are allegories of Agriculture, Commerce, Transport and Industry.

Lines North-South Line (KTM Intercity).

Platforms 1 side platform and 1 island platform (segmented as two side platforms).

Tanjong Pagar railway station (Chinese: 丹戎巴葛火车总站; Malay: Stesen Keretapi Tanjong Pagar), also called Keppel Road railway station or Singapore railway station, was a railway terminus owned by Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), the main railway operator in Malaysia. The land on which the station and the KTM railway tracks in Singapore are situated was held by KTM on a 999-year lease.

Standing on the side platform, I fulfil my wish to visit the station and I am contented to have a photo for the sweet and fond memory!
