What is the difference between "Givers" and "Takers"?

Everyone of us gives or takes for different reasons. Giving or taking behaviors are characterized by the use of power plays or other controlling behaviors.

There are four basic combinations of "giver" and "taker":

Givers Who Give;

Givers Who Take;

Takers Who Give; and

Takers Who Take.


In the process of giving and taking, there are four types of manipulators:


the "Poor Me";

the "Aloof";

the "interrogator" and

the "Intimidator"
