Start removing things from your life

My reflection after teaching the topic  "Perform collection weeding and discard operation" under CU4 "Support Collection Maintenance" today is:

Library collection need to go through weeding exercise to make room for new books etc, likewise, we need to remove things from our life, to make room for new joys etc...

Like the saying of the following quotes:

"We all have to start with ourselves. It is time to walk the talk. Take the journey of making very difficult decisions.  Start removing things from your life that are not filling your cup and adding things that bring joy in to your life."
-- Lisa Hammond

"A good library collection is like a good haircut. It is not what you cut – it’s what you leave"

--Anne Felix

Less is "more"!  Hence, weeding give you more space and room for improvement, be it in library, or in life!

Nothing is before something!  Library filing rule is a good rule that may guide us in life journey.  So do not put too many things on your plate.  Have some space or create new space in your life journey. New joys will evolve if you make room for it to grow!
