The group was guided by Ms Carol Sim Soek Cheng , Director (Information Resources & Technology). We have the afternoon visit extended till 6pm as we enjoyed the viewing of the special collection on Local Artists Catalogue, the talk to the student artists, the Instructor of the Jewelry Course and many other unexpected sight of various NAFA studio/gallary.
At the end of the visit and tour, we are given a table of Art books for our selection. Even though all of us are tire and exhausted after the full afternoon programme, most of us are overjoyed to bag many heavy volumn of books home.
Thanks to NAFA and Ms Carol Sim for making the day filled with visual treats. The tangible reward of our visit are bags of valuable art books which is hard to afford or obtain in the bookshop for most of us.
If you miss this visit, the NAFA web site http://www.nafa.edu.sg/ may give you some good information to fill you gap. Yet, nothing can replace a real visit and I am glad to be with the group today!

Maturity
Maturity begins when we're content to feel we're right about something, without feeling the necessity to prove someone else is wrong.
-- Sydney J. Harris (1917-1986)
It is the same as creating a win-win situation in any human relationship.
When you have this mind set, it is easy for you to go ahead with what you choose to do which may be very different from what others around you are doing!
You do what you feel right about something and concentrate on that! The chance of being successful in your pursuit is 50% higher as you do not need to spend time and energy to prove that someone else is wrong!

Happiness
Happiness is essentially a state of going somewhere,
wholeheartedly,one-directionally,
without regret or reservation.
-- William H. Sheldon
Most of us do things half heartedly and regret for not putting in more efforts at the first place.
We are not happy with what we have chosen to do, or not to do most of the time!
Happinese is being able to match what inside you with what outside there in the real world!
