Singapore Press Holdings Information Resource Centre

The LAS Programmes and Social Committee organised a tour of the Singapore Press Holdings Information Resource Centre for over 30 members today.

The tour included briefings by three SPH departments and a visit to RazorTV, the “100 per cent Singaporean video news channel”.

I enjoy visiting SPH Information Resource Centre from time to time.  I think I am a frequent visitor of the Library, hence, Mr Idris, the Librarian said I may be able to help briefing the new members who are first time visitor.

Well, I do not think so as SPH Information Resource Centre had evloved from time to time to match the new demands of the organisation. 

Every visit to the library allow me to update my understanding of their roles and services.  This visit is extremely inspirating as we are invited to view not just the Information Resource Centre, but also have a glimpse of 90.5 radio station/studio, RazorTV, and meet some DJ who are on duties.
